Beatrice grew up in Montreal, Canada and currently lives in Englewood, New Jersey with her husband and three boys. She graduated from McGill University with a BSc in Pyschology but quickly realized her real passion was in interior design. Her first project was decorating her condo. When friends asked if they could use her as their designer, that’s when she knew she was onto something.
When her middle son didn't hit milestones on time, Beatrice knew something wasn't right. He wasn't sleeping well, and had too much energy that wasn't being utilized the right way . When he was later diagnosed with ADHD and sensory processing disorder, it all started to make sense. Beatrice started doing research, and collaborating with his child study team to gather more information on what could help him feel more at ease at home and more specifically, his room. Beatrice became passionate about sensory interior design and realized there is a great need for it, as there are many families who aren't aware that their home environment could be impacting their children's moods.
